We are proud to announce that: Sunshine Golf celebrates 25th Anniversary!

We opened our doors to the golfing public on the 8^th of February 1998 in La Cala de Mijas and since then have been very successful due to our wonderful loyal clients – So our biggest thank you goes to you!

The 400m2  Golf Pro Shop, which is spread over two floors, was founded by Kenneth and Christine Hook with the aim to offer a comprehensive range of golf equipment for all your golfing needs.

In 2002 José Ramón Liñan joined Sunshine Golf and after 18 successful years as manager he took over and bought the company of the family Hook when they decided to retire on the 1^st of January 2019.

Since then Sunshine Golf has maintained the high standard and service to their clients and is well known for discounted green fee booking service provided by their external partner Costalessgolf who have more than 20 years experience working with all the Costa del Sol golf courses.

Also ,continuing to grow rapidly is our golf club rental service which only supplies the latest model and specification famous brand sets. Quality at competitive prices with a delivery and collection service in the Malaga region, with many new additions to the portfolio for kids, women, men, amateurs and professionals.

Sunshine Golf celebrates 25th Anniversary

To celebrate these 25 years we have organized a special golf tournament on the 12^th of February, which thanks to our loyal clients, is already completely sold out. The competition will take place at the fabulous El Chaparral Golf course and apart from amazing sponsors that will be generously providing prizes for the tournament winners, there will be a Sunday roast and live music. Sunshine Golf Top Floor

Upstairs in the reception area our friendly staff are on hand to welcome and advise you on any purchases. They can even help you book a discounted tee time. There is also a comprehensive display of drivers, wedges, irons, putters, GPS watches, laser rangefinders, manual trolleys (Rovic, Masters, Longridge, Trifold) and electric trolleys from our exclusive partner for this area Powakaddy and PowaKaddy.

The Golf Pro Shop is an official stockist of Callaway clubs as well as carrying other big-name brands such as TaylorMade, Ping, King Cobra, Srixon and Cleveland. The Mijas Costa Golf Pro Shop also stocks the more mid-range brand, Wilson as well as Titleist, aimed at highly skilled golfers. We ensure that have the latest club brands and models for sale. However, you can also rent sets of clubs from the Golf Pro Shop, so you can try out irons and drivers for a week to see if they suit your game and avoid the potential damage and cost of bringing your clubs with you.

Sunshine Golf – Lower Floor

The lower floor houses even more clubs, a fantastic array of ladies and men’s golf fashion, a large golf shoe department – Callaway, Footjoy, Nike and others, the Foresight Sports Golf Fitting Lab, the embroidery section, the trophy ceneter and a section for younger golfers.
